Promiseland Studios is owned and opperated by The Promiseland Church in Austin,TX. The Recording Studio which is open to the public was built in 1998 and was designed by Micheal Cronin who is known for his studio designs all over the world. We provide the audio for TV broadcasts which have been used by many networks and for live music CD's/DVDs in addition to traditional studio albums. Promiseland records from it's 900 or 2200 seat sanctuarys as well as the 600 sq foot studio with 2 iso rooms.We have been host to many Artists such as Salvador, Larry Gatlin, Chris Tomlin, Billy Joe Shaver, Phillips, Craig,& Dean, Randy Rogers, Israel Houghton, Chester Baldwin to name just a few !I am Michael Hersh, the chief engineer for PromiseLand Recording Studios. I have been involved in many projects in the production of various music styles as well as recording, post production, and mixing audio for the TV program THE AWAKENING which is a christian live music presentation seen on many major television networks through out the world.I have been a recording engineer since 1976 and have seen the industry go through many changes. My career has earned me several gold and platinum albums. In 1981, I went to work for a Christian music producer, Kenneth Nash for whom I engineered many records for Maranatha Records. Later I became involved in recording of live concerts for people like PCD, The Katinas, Walter Hawkins, Daryl Coley, Laurence Mathews, and Edwin Hawkins to name a few.I was the personal engineer for M.C. Hammer for 4 years at his own studio facility. In 1998 I was brought to Austin, TX to build and run the PromiseLand Recording Studios and have been here ever since. More recently I have designed and built a mobile 48 track recording truck which can go anywhere where capturing audio is needed.I know that our services can be a great asset to your next project.
