Paul Barfuss is a formidable young guitarist with a versatile repertoire reaching from Bach to Led Zeppelin. Born and raised in the Seattle area, Paul started playing when he was fourteen. Although largely self-taught, he had some classical training with Michael Partington, Director of the University of Washington's guitar program, and also in his study of music at Brigham Young University.
Paul has honed his skills as a teacher, solo performer, studio musician, and member of The Southwest Guitar Duo. The Duo's second album, Christmas Guitars, has been critically praised for its "flawless performance and stunning arrangements" and was a front-page feature on CDBaby.com.
Paul is currently playing on board the Constellation with Celebrity Cruises.
