“We don’t make music… we “R†musicâ€, is the motto of three young entrepreneurs who have been drawn in with what they love to do the most, which is to produce music. Their music is unique because of who they are. They are 3 different souls with 3 different minds, who manage to co-exist in one heart with one rhythm. This trio involves Kelvis “S. Kay†Fernandez, John “JL†Rondon, and Jose “Mouse†Mancebo.
Kelvis Fernandez was born on June 26, 1983 in New York City. His parents were young teenagers when they got together, but unfortunately soon after his birth their marriage dismantled and was sent to live with his grandparents. Throughout his pre-teen years Kelvis, grew more and more fond of the arts and began exploring into Film and Music. While in Junior High School he was heavily involved in music and media groups. Unlike many people at the age of 13, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life and set all his energy on pursuing his dream of one day becoming a successful film and music producer. This dream started becoming more realistic in High School, where Kelvis met John and quickly formed an inseparable bond. The partnership almost came to an end when Kelvis graduated from high school and left to Florida to attend school. While there he realized that Florida was not the place for him, and quickly returned back to New York to reunite with John and pursue his dream. Kelvis always knew education was important so as he enrolled in college to acquire his Bachelors degree in business he reconnected with high school friend Jose.John Rondon was born in the Dominican Republic on Dec. 9th 1983 and raised in the Hip Hop capital of the world the Bronx with true affinity for music. With a great support and motivation from wife Griselidys, daughter Alissa, and friends, john was signed to True Sounds Inc. John proves to be nothing different of a professional music producer, his unmatched ability to lace a track as he combines creativity, talent, and ingenuity will only make way for success. As he puts his skill to the test, he will captivate audiences all over the world with his versatility, and will forever change the landscape of the entertainment industry. His passion for music and thirst for success led him to pursue music on many levels. October 27th 2001 was the best day of his life, his daughter Alissa was born. John was uncertain of continuing his musical path to devote time with family, but his passion for music was endless. He got all the help and support from family and friends to continue in his world of music.
Jose Mancebo was born on February 3, 1983, in the birthplace of Hip –Hop, The Bronx. His parents migrated from The Dominican Republic. Jose’s inspiration and hero is his father, who left the Dominican Republic at the age of twenty. He went through all the struggles a non English-speaking person can go through. He managed to go to college and becoming a nuclear medicine Technologist. He also served in the U.S. military.Jose’s parents as many married couples had their share of problems, which led to divorce. He moved with his brother and mother to California, back to New York then Massachusetts. He was given the decision to move back to New York with his father and he went with it. He had mix feelings because he would be away from his Mother and siblings, but being in New York offered him great opportunities. During his pre-teen years Jose did go on a different route for a while. He was not focused on schoolwork and decided not to attend school. His father finding out about his misbehavior tried to stop him. Jose did not change until he decided to take that step on his own. He began attending school everyday and achieved to be on the honor roll. He went on to high school where he met Kelvis. Jose continued on to college achieving a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Kelvis introduced John to Jose and that’s when this trio was formed.
True Sounds Inc has worked closely with mentor/friend, established producer/musician David Anthony in an effort to gain direction and guidance in their career. As a result, they decided to build a Recording Studio to concentrate in composing, songwriting, and sound engineering to hone their skills in a variety of genres specializing in Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, and Reggeatton. Their presence in an industry that sifts through talented artists and producers, while separating the rookies from the pros have proved that there is room for them at the top. With a solid foundation and heavy influence and motivation from their friends and family and industry greats such as David Anthony, Quincy Jones, Timbaland, the Neptunes and Dr. Dre, to name a few. True Sounds Inc. is continuously working towards progression as they strive to meet their destiny with fervor and ambition with God given talent and flair for music.True Sounds Inc is special because they believe in well-composed music and they are trendsetters. While everyone is running around mimicking each other, they are creating new waves of sounds and music for the future. The reason so many people gather samples and recreate a classic record is because the people ask for it. They want to re-feel that feeling they once felt at a certain time in their life because they don't feel the passion in current music anymore. This is the goal of True Sounds Inc. They want to create music that will last a lifetime and not just a couple of weeks in the billboard charts top 200. Their goal is to have the public reflect back and appreciate that moment in time when that certain song was playing that gave them that certain feeling that got them through what ever was going right or wrong in their life. Memories are one of the greatest gifts in life, and this is the main objective of True Sounds Inc, they want their music to live on in memories across generations forever.
