Welcome again to the 8th Far Out Festival of Fantastique Film
We return with the usual low-rent but highly-aspiring horror / sci-fi / trash / and plain weird celebration of the dark side, the light side, and the backside of cinema. Two brand new UK premieres (One Missed Call & Trapped Ashes), one regional premiere (Black Sheep) a month long exploration of Eastern European off-the-map classics including a partial retrospective of the Czech surrealist Jan Svankmajer, and other goodies too outlandish to mention (Mesa of Lost Women & Häxan). There will also be a spilling of unusual short films but we’re holding those back to upset you.
