i got my copies of the first book in this week. its dropping dec. 26th. go support a local artist and help me out guys! should be able to find it at barnes and noble. i've also been doing screen printing lately as well. if you guys want a print or a book, contact me and we can work it out.

so the first book is done, and now i am starting up on the second. during my off-time, i was able to do a series of paintings dubbed the CMY Series. i am also going to be making a limited edition screen-print set of all three this fall. i will most likely show these at gallery's and comic conventions.
i also have finished my first design in my screen-printing class. i made a limited edition of 10.

harper collin's contacted me in december to do a children's book series called Prince of Underwhere. the whole idea of the book is that it will be half novel and half sequential. i will be covering about 4 chapters of the book taking place in underwhere. bruce hale is writing and i am illustrating.
the main story is zeke, hector and steph find a passage into an underground world known as underwhere(pun intended). they soon find out zeke is prince of this new dimension, and is destined to save the upperland and underwhere from the underlord! it has zombies, dinosaurs and a lot of butt jokes. everything a kid should love. you can check out concept sketches and what not on my livejournal... http://kingocean.livejournal.com/
here is cover for the book. i've also posted the first six pages from chapter 4. the font is temp. while i search for a more proper one, so keep that in mind. i hope you guys dig it. the book will be out Spring 2008 and should be in most book stores across america. none of these are final yet, more so work in progress.
shane hillman draws comics and makes toys. his status is currently unknown, although it has been heard that a graphic novel will be released within the coming year. shane hillman crossed over from the 4th dimension in 1984. he hopes everyone enjoy's the lesser dimensions.
