Biografie
Lisa Irene Chappell was born on the 18th October, 1968 in Auckland / New Zealand and spent here her childhood and youth together with parents Don and Jane as well as her older brother Loki and her sister Katherine. She has blue eyes and is approx. 1.78 m . Their second given name, Irene, was the name of her grandmother. After her first role in 1987 in the New Zealand TV serial "gloss" in which she played the spoilt Chelsea Lisa moved to Sydney to be active there furthermore as an actress. Here she concluded in 1999 "The Journey", a Workshop in the Actor centre in Sydney, successfully. After some other roles in series and films, like, among the rest, "Desperate Remedies" and "Jack Brown Genious", she received in 2001 a leading role in the Australian TV series "McLeod's Daughters".
Lisa became like to find Bridie Carter, for the role of the Claire as well as for of the Tess gecastet around the thus ideal occupation of both roles - Lisa won clearly as a "Claire" and Bridie as a "Tess".
Lisa Claire was to be played on grounds of the challenge was excited very much. " The script meant that I had to ride and have all the other abilities which somebody needs to lead a farm ", she said and this stood completely in contrast to her true life as a city child who in New Zealand born and had grown up. Lisa likes that the centre of the series is the thought that " in everybody a hero is " and sees the main part of the series in the respect between both sisters. Also the strong Script has drawn Lisa. " Episode one brought me to laugh and to cry and as an actress it is that what I would like to offer to the spectators ", she explained. After she had joined to the occupation in "McLeod's Daughters", became Lisa Vegetarier.
In December, 2001 she married her man Chris Taylor whom she had got to know before on the birthday party of her theatrical colleague Rachael Carpani (Jodi). In 2002 she received a price in the category the most popular female newcomer with the Australian TV Week Logie Awards. However, after three successful years in "McLeod's Daughters" Lisa decided for himself that it is a time for a change and was copied out thus at own wish of the series. She wanted to devote herself, above all, to her dream: of the admission of an album, with songs she has written. Lisa has risked for it a lot and I admire them for her courage. Some months after her climbing out she received once more a Silver Logie - Award for her prominent theatrical achievements as Claire McLeod. After Lisa her role in "McLeod's Daughters" surrendered she moved back to Sydney where she kept open at first her theatrical development to herself.
Back in the city Lisa and Chris increased her family while they to an orphan dog a new home gave. After this time she accepted a guest's role in the series "Stingers". In 2005 Lisa who had separated at the beginning of the year from her man Chris worked on her first album "When Then is Now". The album was a reason, why she stopped with " McLeod's of daughters " - she had to bring out the dream this album, for it she needed time. Lisa has risked a lot and a lot accepted for this dream and I it finds has been worthwhile. It is a nice album with great, soulful songs Lisa supports blood donations and tries to persuade everybody as importantly is to donate blood.
