Lucky Lou aka The Black Santa

Lou AKA The Blacksanta AKA Carl Bernard was born in San Francisco, March 23, 1981. Being brought up between the Hayes Valley Projects and Page Street, he was raised around hustlers, gangsters, pimps, and stick up men. Resulting in being a product of his own environment, Bernard was separated from society having to stay in various Juvenile correctional facilities for selling drugs just to survive. Going through life's obstacles, Lou was sent to the state penitentiary on four different occasions with his last bid ending in a three year stretch. The time away inspired great thought towards music, to where he was renowned for his slick delivery and raspy voice. His love for "the block" was still intact but the prison cell made him realize that "loves gamble" only led to where he was imprisoned. Furthermore, inspired by his best friend Young Tyson and cousin San Quinn, he finally decided to become serious as an artist devoting his vicious hood tales to a musical diary. Working with Bay Area producers and artists such as VeRb the Exclusive, Davie D, Dex, The Jinxx, Young Tyson, San Quinn, Ya Boy, and Symba, Lucky Lou is preparing his debut album to purify the impurities within the hip-hop world today.
