Bio by. Shia LabeoufHi I'm Shia LaBeouf. The thing I like most of being an actor is meeting new people and learning new things from movies I've done. I love acting in movies especially 'Transformers' and 'Disturbia'. In 'Transformers' and 'Disturbia' there is alot of action scenes and pretty girls :). I also loved meeting Harrison Ford in the 4th Indy movie. There was alot of fighting and running. In both movies I almost fainted from all the running and fighting scenes. The most scariest thing I've done was having to climb the statue thing in a scene of Transformers. I suffer from being afraid of heights but I survived it. One of my first movies to reach #1 was Disturbia. Another one of my favorite movies to do was The Evan Stevens Movie. I don't know why but i had the most fun doing that movie. Well, my Disney Channel days are over and now i'm hitting the big screen! When i am not filmmaking i love to play the drums! I'm not very good though... I also love Jack Black movies and Mexican food :). Another one of my favorite sports is surfing. My fist animated movie I made was Surf's Up where I played 'Cody' You can tell from the title that it is about surfing so i had alot of fun doing the voice of him. Well I'm kind of getting bored of writing so just look me up on the internet! lol, jk. One day, I saw a friend of my acting on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (1993), and wanted to become an actor. My mom and I talked it over, and the next day I started looking for an agent. I searched in the yellow pages, called one up, and did a stand-up routine in front of him. They liked me and signed me, and then I started auditioning. I'm well known for playing Louis Stevens in the popular Disney Channel series "Even Stevens" (2000) and has won a Daytime Emmy for my performance. Considers The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005) as my transition movie from child actor to adult actor. When I was a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman around the hype of Transformers, Dave asked me how my name originated. I responded saying that the name "Shia" was Hebrew for Praise God and his last name "LaBeouf" was French for Beef hence the phrase "Praise God for Beef.". Personal Quotes [When asked about what it's like to be a celebrity] I'll tell you when I become one. [when asked about what girls he likes] I like the tall, mysterious, maybe even preppy type girls. They have to have a good personality too! I'm very picky! My favorite actors aren't Adonises. Dustin Hoffman is a flawed-looking man; he's amazing to me. Tom Hanks is flawed-looking; people love him. Same with Gene Hackman. I was billed as the 10-year-old kid with the 50-year-old mouth. I knew if I wanted to work in the business, funny would be good because I looked like Garry Shandling.Clubs are so lame. Nobody even dances at these clubs. They stand around and get drunk and they schmooze. There is no enjoyment factor. You get so many invites . . . partying has never interested me.
