Shelley Magee

Called a "seismic stage presence," Shelley performs plenty of blues you know and love. She also pulls out some more unexpected covers and makes them her own. But most notably, she writes great songs. Blues festivals have described Shelley's crowd pleasing live performances as featuring "blistering vocals." Shelley is married to Mike "Naz" Nazarenko, noted blues harmonica player with the band Elliott and the Untouchables. Naz and Shelley often take the stage together, and he plays all the harmonica on her most recent album, "Shoutin' for Sugar". Together they live just outside Columbia, SC making beautiful music together with their dog and two cats.Shelley Magee, Mike Nazarenko, and Adam Gussow on stage in the pouring rain at the Bean Blossom Blues Festival in Indianna last fall.
