Hey y'all, JMB is on extended hiatus...but don't count us out! In the meantime look for solo projects from Mel Stark, Sean McGowan and Artie Lieder. Yeah!

The Jasper Mountain Band hails from Eugene, Oregon - just a quick hayride from downtown Jasper. JMB has its roots in bluegrass jam sessions at our pal Ben's place. From there we've taken it to a family of musicians and friends. Whether it's a festival or a back porch, Jasper Mountain Band just loves to bring a good song and a jam.

Influences: Where do you start? Acoustic Bluecountryrockahickabillyfolk artists everywhere are bending our minds.
Sounds Like: Jasper Mountain plays western swing, a bit of folk and a whole lotta bluegrass - it all fits in that Americana genre. You'll hear old faves from Bob Wills, Lefty Frizzell, Pete Seeger and John Hartford with a touch of Rhonda Vincent & Patsy Cline.
