Ricky has been boxing since the age of ten and holds a professional record of 43 wins with 31 coming by way of knockout, one loss and zero draws. He has spent the majority of his career in the light-welterweight division as only two of his bouts have come at welterweight. 2007 was a banner year for the fighting pride of Manchester with a unanimous decision victory over Juan Urango in January, a fourth round knockout of Jose Luis Castillo and most recently, moving up in weight to take on Floyd Mayweather Jr., boxing's top pound-for-pound performer in December.
