About Me
Kevin Fitzgerald Corrigan
Born March 27, 1969 in The Bronx, New York
An American character actor of Irish and Puerto Rican descent.
When Kevin was just 17, his original play "The Boiler Room" was produced by the Young Playwrights Festival of New York. Since, he has gone on to star in countless independent films and has made quite an impression.
After studying at The Actors Studio, Kevin Corrigan made his first major film debut in 1989 in Lost Angels starring Donald Sutherland and Adam Horovitz. After he appeared in the poorly-received film Billy Bathgate, Kevin turned his attention towards small-budget films, starting with Zebrahead.
During the independent film boom of the 1990s, Kevin built a career playing quirky, unconventional characters in films such as True Romance, Living in Oblivion and Walking and Talking. He made a rare appearance in a big-budget blockbuster film with a small role in Bad Boys. He made his first television series debut as a cast member of the short-lived Rhea Perlman sitcom, Pearl.
In 1997, Kevin wrote the script for the film Kicked in the Head. The film starred Michael Rapaport, Linda Fiorentino, Lili Taylor, himself and was executive produced by Martin Scorsese.
You will most likely know Kevin as the slacker Eddie Finnerty on the sitcom Grounded for Life which ran for five seasons. After the show's cancellation, he returned to appearing in smaller projects with the exception of a role in Martin Scorsese's The Departed as the drug dealing cousin of Leonardo DiCaprio's character.
In 2001, Kevin married actress Elizabeth Berridge whom he met on the set of an independent film, Broke Even. They are the proud parents of Sadie Rose Corrigan. Corrigan is also an experienced guitarist and has played in several New York City bands.
