   I'm 33 years old and am happily married to a beautiful young lady named Samantha. She is the light of my life. I spend my spare time enjoying/appreciating life and having good times with good people. I'm a really BIG fan of cats!! I have 2 (Dexter & Hobbes) of the catroonish inspiration. Dexter is a platinum Burmese and is the greatest cat that's ever lived (IMHO). Hobbes is just a generic American Shorthair w/attitude. My cats are teh ghey; but it's cool cuz they're neutered. We have recently become proud owners of an adorable Bombay kitty named Binx. I like EDM and its various outcroppings. I spin digital tracks like turtles on thier backs. My DJ moniker is GruvRegulator. I think you can do alot more with beat and rhythm than with notes and chords. Hence; the music I play when I DJ reflects the tribal progressive side of EDM.I now enjoy the hobby of fish and aquariuming (if there IS such a thing!!) I've got 2 aquariums (20 Gal and 36 Gal); even a 5 gallon at work; and it's a good deal of work to keep em clean; but having a nice fishtank is better than TV!!! I always look forward to hiking and camping in the Shenandoah; or anywhere for that matter. I'm def an outdoorsy person. It's nice to "unplug" and get away for a weekeend.I still think cordouroy is the greatest material on the face of the planet!!! I'm a Technical Computer/Networking Professional. Done it my whole life; kinda cool to turn a hobby into a profession; I'm still not quite really sure how that happened.I'm also very much into photography; and I've finally made the plunge into Digital with the Nikon D50 DSLR. I think I'm very good at capturing observations of moments and each one has a story to tell. I'm a Libra; so I try to be a balanced person. My "scales" are nature and technology. I'm usually optimistic and positive. I'm the proud owner of a Toyota Prius that we have affectionately named "Jarvis" (after the computer in Iron Man). I'm a certified rekki healer and I strongly believe that it works. I don't have a "conventional" mindset when it comes to spirituality. I'm very interested in far eastern philosophy and martial arts. Taoism and Tai Chi come to mind. I don't believe the world is going to end soon; we've got so much to live for right now. I believe forgiveness is a gift; but trust is something you earn. I think everyone should extend common courtesy to one another; but true respect is something that is also earned. I think most Americans don't really KNOW the value of money. My father taught me; "When you pay for something with your money that YOU earned; you feel more PRIDE about it than if it were just given to you"; it's def an ideal I agree with. I'm not really afraid of dying in a terror attack; if it happens it happens; life is too short to be afraid of maybes. I think I TRULY entered ADULTHOOD when I turned 30. It's really cliche; but so very, very true. I have 2 tattoos; the kanji characters for 'Tsunami' and a dragonfly that look like it was painted with a brush. I've decided to go back to school (NoVA) to get a 'Career Certificate'. I believe you are who you are and NOT what you have. I feel people are defined by their character; not their possessions. My beer of choice is Newcastle; I'm all about the nukes; but not the atomic variety. Sam Adams runs a close second. I believe life is a lesson; not a test. Everything happens for a reason; even if you don't know or understand why.
