~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have found that all things are everchanging. All things are temporary...Nothing is permanent in life. Even a mountain may only be around for 10,000 years, but it still changes through the course of time due to the elements of nature. Well, I won't be around that long, which makes me feel young in comparison (HaHa), but all the same I too am everchanging. Metamorphosis is a favorite word of mine. Sometimes it is very necessary, but scary as hell! I am definitely not the same person I was 5 or even 10 plus years ago...thankfully. "What the soul doesn't know...it needs to experience" and it has been my experiences BY CHOICE that have made me who I am today. It's ironic that people we love must change as well and to remember this helps make it a more peaceful thing to sometimes let go or allow them the change. It's amazing how people we meet along the way touch us in different ways, maybe even bring out a long forgotten part of ourselves (if we are so brave enough to let it bubble to the surface once again) that we stuffed away somewhere. Or maybe they teach us an appreciation for things where before we had none. They could also be the teacher who finally makes you 'Get' a life long lesson. And the funny thing, is that person may or may not ever know the effect they made. Those that do know, Thank you! I mostly have no regrets, but I do have some. I can't lie, I regret times when my non-soberly impulsive actions have stifled relationships that have really mattered to me. Those are times when you really wish there was a 'rewind button'. Being misunderstood by many, has been a sad side effect of my self induced medicine of much needed experiences. Where's Mary Poppins when you fucking need her? Ha! But that's okay, I might just write a book about it one day! I am a work in progress... Live for today, love while you can and travel where you feel the need to travel.
