HERO IN ERROR was formed in Mid '07 when three "normal" guys went into a room, made some loud noises, liked said noises and memorised them in a particular order. Starting out playing shows as a three piece and shortly after expaning to a five piece, Hero in error quickly began to form a large following in their native Ireland.The band has self funded the recording of their debut E.P in London, England with Justin Hill and Dan Wellar (formerly of SIKTH) on production duties and has also shared the stage with Prog Metal giants MASTODON(USA), Architects (UK), Your Demise(UK) and Panic Cell (UK) on their respective Irish tours.2009 saw Hero in Error complete two successful Irish tours in support of their debut realese "Under my sky" further expanding their fanbase , Radio play on the likes of Dublin City FM and endorsements with companys such as Division Two Six Clothing (Usa), NI - EVE clothing (uk), Pigtronix Guitar Pedals (USA) And Mayfish Custom Drums (Bel).
The band have had their fair share of ups and downs. From multiple member changes to broken down transport and equipment to simply playing a genre of music of which there is no mainstream support or radio play for their home country.2010 will see the release of the bands 2nd EP (Untitled as of now). The attention will the turn to the UK, Mainland Europe and of course the USA. With a determined attitude, huge work ethic and an honest and energetic live show in tow! You have been warned
