My Interests

Music:

Band Website: Coming Soon
Band Members: Steve Parkhouse, Bashema & Beth

An advocate of all Bristol local music talent (But not the Assholes). Steve's influences have developed over time with the changing acoustic music scene. Particularly watching artists such as Jane Taylor, Roger Tarry, Beth Rowley, Bashema & Rosie Garrard to name but a few.

Managing the live music programme at the Bristol Folk House for 10 years until 2008, Steve is now Concert Manager at the world famous St George's Bristol. He is also Chairman of the Bristol Music Forum at the Colston Hall.

As a result, he has an excellent grasp of local talent and in 2007 diversified into presenting the Bristol (UK) Music Show on BCfm (93.2FM) Bristol community, Radio based at the Beacon Centre in Easton (see BCfm link).

Steve is Managing Director in the local record, Management and Promotions company Jelli Records (see link). He also jointly runs the Cascade Steps stage at the Bristol Harbourside Festival and the Bandstand stage at the Keynsham Music Festival. and the Acoustic Stage at the new Bristol Festival.

Steve has recently been joined by local musician Bashema & Beth (who we found in the car park) as co-presenters of the Bristol (UK) Music Show.
Sounds Like: Great Music to me.
