About Me

Well its finally happened, Chikitronix and Pussy Shoogah have finally tied the knot of perfomance vows and ChiKiPussy is their immaculately conceived love-child...Their shows are a techni-coloured mash up of electronically enhanced sight and sounds with massive flickering screens, fruity electro-disco toons, extravagant outfits, cheeky dance routines, glittering disco cherries and big big hair.ChiKi & Pussy are multi-faceted artists whose gigs showcase their considerable pool of talents by fusing elements of dance, video art and music.ChiKiTroniX has performed under a myriad of names and guises on the national and international dance music festival scene since the mid 90’s. Including solo hows as Electra, troupe work with Electric Angelic, Chigana People Dance Company, Sproing and ElectriCircuTree, as well putting on massive and intimate gigs across Australia including the famous Beyond the Brain parties in Byron Bay, Earthdance and MotherShip shows across Australia.Meanwhile Pussy Shoogah has been wowing audiences with his flamboyant and upbeat shows between the South West, Perth and Bali for the past 8 years. Which explains their playfully unforgettable name, ChikiPussy.ChiKiTroniX has performed in many guises and mediums since the early 90’s at festivals, dance parties and clubs all across Oz. As well as co-founding the influential east coast dance music label, Edgecore Releases, with Nick Taylor and Sean Candy of Slot Machine fame.Pussy Shoogah has been busy playing his impressive and unique brand of DJ gigs for the past 7 years, in West Oz, Bali and Japan. Including a residency at The Court Hotel and gigs at Southbound and Geisha, to name a few.Over the past few years ChiKi has worked with such muscial luminaries as Pendulum, The Freestylers, Freq Nasty, Girl Talk, Blackaliscious, Infected Mushroom, The Presets and Jamie Lidell, The Herd, Blackalicious, The Specials, Gotye and many more.Their shows are outrageous techni-coloured mash ups of digitally enhanced sights and sounds, nicely spiced with extravagant outfits and cheeky dance routines. Like a couple of wound-up colour kids at a cyber-punk roller-discotheque, ChikiPussy has a prime initiative…to have fun !!!
