In the Beginning there was a Group that was formed from a high-school marching band called "Cosmic Function" later to be named "Stereo" one of the Hottest local bands in the Chi- where he performed as Lead Vocalist. Greg "Kino''Mcdonald Vernon Lloyd, Anthony Collins , Darwin Easterling, just to name a few of the other members of the Group all started Thier quest to become music producers. Produced by great mentors such as Gerald Sims,Willie Henderson, the Late Willie Dixon,Tom-Tom 84 (E.W.F.) and many more. The group grew up and away from one another as each member began to write and produce their own material . Greg then went on to join "The Images of Life Band " under the masterful talented hands of Mr.Terrance Thompson. Performing all over the Mid-West as and opening act for great artist such as "Holly Maxwell", "Jacque Carter", "Bruce Thompson", and many others. Still developing as a songwriter and having a thirst to not just perform but to write and Produce. Greg went on to do great things in Theater under the direction of Ms. Mary Swopes writing for Plays, Commercials, Productions,and Pageants as well. Greg also branched out to different production companies such as "Planet 11" under the directed hand of "Mr.Robert Terrell", with such artist as "Trigga -Trife", "Ready", "Michael Anthony" , "Carnicia" and many others. HK Assoc. under the wonderful elegant watchful eyes of "Ms. Helen Wooten" where many young artist such as "Tha Brat", "Lisa Rae", "Donnell Jones" and many more got their start. Met another very talented Producer by the name of "Ronald M. Carter" (Funk-Hop Productions) who later teamed up and wrote and produced 40 to 50 hits the world is still yet to hear.Collaborated with Producers Paul Richmond (Tyrone Davis , Willie Clayton , ManHattans), Clarence Johnson (Producer of Heaven & Earth ,Brighter Side Of Darkness, C-Nario) Bob Ware (WareHouse Sounds) and other great producers in the great city of Chicago and Gary Ind. have worked with Greg in the capacity of Vocalist,Writer,Vocal Arranger, Background Vocalist , Producer, and Musician.
