I am here for Friends

About Me

I am remembered as the drummer for the Punk Rock band The Controllers in 1977-78. The Controllers were the first band of the early l.a. punk scene to gain any kind of positive audience reaction. After The Germs, The Controllers were the second band to record on Chris Ashford's What? Records label. The way The Controllers would drive crowds wild reminded me of when I saw Jerry Lee Lewis perform in a tent in Louisiana in 1960. I did not feel completely comfortable in the early l.a. punk scene. The Masque was a very dangerous place, so the Bags fled with their tails between their legs, only to return later with men(Craig Lee R.I.P.). The Masque scene was composed of The Controllers and The Skulls. Most of what you read about the early L.A.Punk scene was written by people who really did not dare enter the place very often. "He who controls the past controls the future."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I don't like people who have a problem with men.
