WASU is owned and operated by Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. We are a non-profit organization here to help the students of the university get interested in the radio business. As a learning lab for students, we help them get an understanding of the radio business and other aspects of broadcasting. This is also a good chance to make real-world contacts during your school years at ASU and this will certainly help to some extent in getting jobs after you graduate.
