About Me

............................................................ ................................
Liz Stahler and Brianna Lane met as many songwriters do, over a micro-brew and a cheeseburger at a club in some American city, guitars by their sides, calloused fingers and sore voices. After bonding over tour-stories and a love for songwriting these two decided to join forces for a Boston to Austin Tour celebrating their new releases. In addition to bringing their original acoustic-rock to 42 towns up and down the east coast Liz and Brianna will be lacing up their running shoes and participating in 5K races in Austin, TX and Minneapolis, MN to raise money for various organizations such as The Lance Armstrong Foundation and Reach for the Skye. A bit about singer/songwriter/runner Brianna Lane : Respected and long time music-writer/author/rock-journalist Jim Walsh recently wrote that Brianna Lane is “…a star in the making. She's poised, ambitious, a great writer, a soul singer of the first order, and a lithe, accomplished guitarist.” Lane is a sweet-voiced alterna-folkie who grew up in Minnesota, once found a home in the mountains of North Carolina, but who is truly a restless old soul. You can blame her sweetness on her roots but this girl has been on the road non-stop for several years so you can hear her experiences in every note she sings. In her years of touring Lane has shared the stage with Dar Williams, The Weepies, and Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland). This fall Lane is releasing her third album entitled, “Let You In”. This collection of eleven well-crafted songs digs in to Lane’s true Americana side. www.BriannaLaneMusic.com
A bit about singer/songwriter/runner Liz Stahler : This, "average girl blessed with gold for a voice and a penchant for songwriting," (Northeast Performer Magazine) may be your down-to-earth ordinary 20-something but Liz Stahler is not your average singer/songwriter. Stahler brings honest heart-filled pop-americana songs to the stage spliced with quick-witted between-song banter that leaves her audience with the feeling that they’ve found a new friend. A friend who’s music is your new obsession. Fans of Stahler’s first release “Turn the Lights Down” (EP 2002) are eagerly anticipating the full-length release “Stitches in My Sleeve” (September 2007) which has already been praised by her peers, as well as Deb Talan of The Weepies, and Performing Songwriter Magazine. www.LizStahler.com
Both artists average about 15-20 miles a week in their respective running shoes. Brianna Lane suffers from blisters on her right heel and wonders why it’s only her right heal that has the problems. Liz Stahler's calves have been hailed by men and women, runners and non-runners all around the country. While on stage Stahler and Lane will be sporting sexy shoes, strumming acoustic guitars, and singing stunning harmonies.
