The way He gave Himself for me, for us...I am dazzled by His sky, His stars, His artwork; the way He ate with sinners, and allowed the prostitute to wet his feet with her tears...I love His love...He is interwoven throughout the fabric of my whole existance...He is my reason; Because of Him I cannot die, I cannot lose, I will not be defeated...He has romanced me and from his eyes I cannot look away...He has reached across the ages to touch my life...He wrote history, and He is still writing it...I will swear allegiance to Him forever...THAT is what moves me... <3
I need to figure out who I am and what I want. I need to remember the person I once was; I am afraid of who I am becoming. I cannot see anything but the struggle before me. It has become me. It makes up most of who I am. I've torn my eyes from His throne, and fought my way out of His embrace! What is wrong with me? May my allegiance be to Him, my first Love, once again.
