I've learned my flaws are a package, so take me or not. I've learned some people are meant to walk out of your life for a reason, they were only meant to be in our lives for a season, but we confused them with people that should have lifetime expectations. I've learned the grass isn't greener on the other side, and the grass on the other side will probably be filled with dirt, poop, and filled with dogs that will give you an itch you can't scratch. My heart has been broken more times than I can count, but it has helped me truly appreciate the man that will be my husband someday. I've learned it's okay to forgive, expecially our parents, it truly could have been worse. Forgiving starts with forgiving ourselves, otherwise you will miss out on so many great opportunities for growth. I've learned that my girlfriends don't need to know all my business, because sometimes misery really does love company. The most important thing I think I've learned in 2009 is that my true friends will congratulate me in my successes, and pick me up in my failures.
