Well hello all! Welcome to my page. Basically, I'm just a regular dude currently residing in Atlanta, GA. Born in and raised a Georgia boy. Lived 10 years in New York City. I am an openly gay male but I'm a little bothered by those typical gay stereotypes! So many people out there think because your gay, you HAVE to be a total queen and have a bitchy "glam" attitude...(i.e. Chris Crocker....yeah, he sets us gays backwards about 25 years, in my opinion) Love a man to just be a MAN. That's truly what being gay is all about. I'm 200% gay and proud to be a masucline dude with hairy chest n legs...(sometimes, maybe too proud)....hehe Love lookin good in just a t-shirt and some old baggy jeans or cargo shorts too. (Wow okay! 'Nuff about that)
My REAL passion is music. Especially electronic music. I grew up buying 12-inch vinyl dance mixes and stuff that mostly got me made fun of in grade school. But, I was the only dude in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade buying imported dance mixes by like, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Marc Almond, Yaz, and Nine Inch Nails! (AND FOR YOU YOUNGER GAY BOYS.....William Orbit was remixing Seal, Erasure, Camouflage, and Depeche Mode looooong before Madonna's "Ray of Light" came along! And actually...."Ray Of light" is, to me, Madonna's BEST album.
I spent much of my time in New York City, partied my ass off (sometimes a little too much...lol!) dj'ing a little and spending many Sunday afternoons (from the night before) dancing at clubs like Tunnel, Twilo, Limelight, and Roxy. From 1993 and beyond I was introduced, even MORE to house, trance, break-beat, drum n bass, electronica, trip-hop, chill-out, and so much more.
One thing I can say today, tho as the out and proud FAG that I AM, I'm sick to death of GAY DIVA-HOUSE music! Always been more into darker to melodic trance and break-beat. To me, Beyonce', Whitney, and Christina belong on POP radio But, NOT in a night club! I'd much rather spend my money and dance to the likes of ATB, Delerium, Armin Van Buuren, Benny Benassi, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk!
So, anyway after about 10 years of NYC, in 2003. I decided to move back home to Georgia and closer to family. Made some great new friends and met my awesome Alexander who is the guy of my dreams and I'm finally living a little more stable, in Atlanta. I still mix music at home as a hobby, hang out with awesome friends go out...OCCASIONALLY but most of all I have my friends, my family, my boy, and even some newly found faith to boot! Which is necessary to get me through a life that seems to be more and more crazy and confusing everyday. My thing is......Everything happens for a reason! It's all gonna work out the way it was meant to. The only thing you have to do is BELIEVE.
