About Me
As Hip-Hop and R & B continues to cultivate, many artists find it hard to adapt to the new era. However, Passion, born in Carol City, raised in Delray Beach, Florida, brings inspiration, reality, and an undeniable euphoria to the industry with his soft, yet soulful, voice. With so much passion for the art of music, he couldn’t stop at singing. He originally began writing rap songs at the age of 8. It has only been in recent years that Passion has emerged into a singer. He started singing in the summer of ‘07 when he was mistakenly enlisted in a high school chorus class. Without anyone knowing, a star was being born. With his strong desire to learn about singing, he has consistently worked in the studio to learn the ins and outs of singing recording. In doing so, he has quietly become one of the hottest young artists in south Florida. Showcasing his ability to write, rap, and sing makes him the last of a dying breed, cut from a different cloth. Passion uses his talents to intricately reveal his life to listeners, speaking about financial hard times with his family, hustling some days when he needed to eat, experiencing the sweet misery in his past relationships (love), and living through the struggle of trying to walk right with God. Most days have been struggles for Passion. Losing his Grandfather on Father’s Day and his cousin to gang violence days before Christmas has been distressing, but it didn’t stop him from striving for success. In early January 2009, he collaborated with a member from Trick Daddy’s group, Dunk Ryder’s (Ice Berg) on “Dope Boyz Anthem.†This was a great move for Passion, seeing as Ice Berg is well known in the south from Dunk Ryder’s hit, “F**k the Other Side†featuring Trick Daddy. Passion’s also featured in the 561 Magazine (soon to be Ozone magazine). The magazine elaborately displays images pertaining to politics, music, models, and businesses from south Florida. With everything going well, Passion wasn’t aware that there was more to come. He collaborated with his old friend, C Money (DJ & Producer), to make his first official hit single called “Head Doctor.†“Head Doctor†is a mature, sexy, club, song in which it makes love to the ears of promiscuous ladies. With Passion’s faith in his craft and God, he refuses to be a “has been†or “could’ve been.†Many overuse the saying “the Future of Hip-Hop.†Passion is Hip-Hop; he is the truth.
