About Me

harley davidson website

My name is Randy and i am 47 years old, and I have two wonderful children. My son Nathaniel Cole aka Nate Nate is 12 years old, and my daughter Nichole Loriel aka Nikki is 25 years old. My daughter Nikki made me a proud Grandpa on November 7th of 2002, and Nikki named her little girl Zoey Renee. My Grand Baby Zoey Renee is the baby that I have in my arms on my picture cube. Grandpa's Zoey Bear is my Little Angel now, Because Zoey went to be one of Jesus's Little Angels on January the 29th of 2003. When Jesus Called Zoey Renee Home, my Little Angel just quit breathing and the CPR would not work. I'M A GRANDPA AGAIN! My daughter Nichole had a baby girl on September 3rd, 2008, and she named her Kambria! I also have 2 great children who are loved like my own, and I will always be their dad as well. My son Brent Micheal aka Mike is 17 years old, and my daughter Jessica Kathleen aka Jesse Bear is 14 years old. I love living and have had to fight for life. I love all of my children, I love music, I love to crank my music to 11, I love Rock and Roll Concerts at outside venues, I love to go mudding, I love to support the Indianapolis Colts, I love to drink Miller Lite, and I love to roller skate. However, I lost my sight in a motorcycle accident in 1987, so I dont roller skate as much as I would like to. I play guitar, I play violin, and I play harmonica. In 1976 when I was 15 years old, My cousin Steve Hillhouse and I built my bronze colored 1973 Mustang MACH I, and I had the 351 Cleveland 4 bolt main motor built at Jimmy's Motor Block in Plainfield, Indiana. The motor was balanced and blue printed, boared 30 over with molly rings and pistons, I used high rev pump up lifters with chrome push rods and roller rocker arms, with a 560 308 cam with 82 degrees of overlap. I ran a Holly 850 double pumper carburetor with 1600 jets on an Eldabrock Torquer intake manifold with polished ports. I ran a Mallery electronic ignition with a uni light lazar distributor with special spark plugs and special plug wires. We also installed a high rev gas pump and a special gas cooler. The c6 automatic transmission was built at B and M in Chatsworth California, and we ran a 2300 stall speed torque converter in the transmission with a special balanced flywheel. Mike Ralston set up my 411 and 486 rear end set ups, and both rear end set ups had welded spider gears. I used customized chrome exhaust headers and with the cam my Mach sounded very radical. I ran open headers in the summer time and I used thrush header pipes in the winter time. I ran N 50 15 Mcquarey treaded slicks on a full length rear end. In the mid 70's, I was a floor guard at the Wigwam Skating Rink, and I was on Freddie's racing, free style, and figure skating team. I was also the DJ and a floor guard at the Terre Haute Skate Center from the mid 70's until January 1980. Also during 1978 through january 1980, I worked as a cook at a gourmet restaurant named Gust Haus Stefan (in Terre Haute). I worked for Kurt and Ginger Stefan, and Kert and Ginger were from Austria. My first day I worked as a dish washer, on the second day I went to soup and salad maker, and then I worked my way up to next to assistant chef (until I quit in January, 1980). In high school I was a welder by vocational trade, and I was in the VICA CLUB at Terre Haute South Vigo High School (during my junior and senior year). I went to school half days and worked at Payne Tool and Machine in the afternoons. I graduated from South Vigo High School in January of 1980, and this was during the mid term of my senior year. After graduating high school, I went right into the United States Navy. I went to boot camp at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florda. When I finished boot camp, I went to A school in may 1980 at the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I went through damage control, welding, pipe fitting, firefighting, nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare defense school (where I graduated first in a class of seventeen students). In the fall of 1980, I was stationed out of Yokosuka, Japan. I was stationed on the USAF White Plains, and this was a west pac 7th fleet supply ship. I was a HTFN or Hull Maintanence Technician, and a firefighter. I was honorably discharged from the navy in the fall of 1981, and I spent a month at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Chicago, Illinois. In the 80's (after leaving the navy in the fall of 1981), I worked as a welder at both Mount Pleasant Tool and Machine and at Induction Engineering Creative Car Clinic. At Mount Pleasant Tool and Machine, I built raw tire racks for the Firestone Tire Company, built custome pick up truck bush gards, designed and built power plant equipment for the electric power plants on US 63 north in Terre Haute and in Cayuga, and I also refaced D9 bull dozer blades (among other things). At Induction Engineering Creative Car Clinic, I built show cars, blowers, turbo chargers, tubular frames, custom roll bars, and shortened rear ends (I think you get the point). I also built and owned 2 full size raised, lifted, and customized show Ford Bronco's. One Bronco interior was customized by the GerWin Van Company in Bristol, Indiana. I also built and owned a monster truck named "Mud n Madness", which was profiled in the Peterson's 4 by 4 Off Road Magazine. I was coming home on I70 from a Peterson's 4 by 4 off road show (at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis), and Mud n Madness was totled by a tractor trailer driver who fell asleep at the wheel, and rear ended me at about 100 mph. The tractor trailer pushed mud n madness forwards over my dad's car, and this accident totled the semi tractor, Mud n Madness, and I rolled over my dad's car with my passinger side tires and squashed my dads roof flat. In the early 80's, I worked as a line manager at the Castle Car Wash (on the north side of the Honey Creek Square Mall), and I left there for a lot maintenance manager job at Bowen Oldsmobile (at U S 41 and Johnson Avenue). In 1984, I bought a new white 1984 Bronco II, and I built it and named this truck "WHITE HOT". I was also the lead singer in a rock and roll band named "MONARCH" in the mid 80's. Monarch featured: Randy Berg on Lead Vocals, Larry King aka Larry the Coffee King on Percussion and Backing Vocals, Tommy Combs on Lead Guitar Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals, Jimmer Quinlin on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals, and Troy Study often sat in on Rhythm Guitar Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals. On march 6 of 1987, a friend of mine named Tony accidently ran me off of the road on my motorcycle, and I hit a tree face first at 45 mph. Now, due to this accident, I will be totally blind for the rest of my life. I went to Indiana State University (ISU) in Terre Haute from the spring of 1989, and I graduated with my Batchelors Degree in Social Work in December of 1992. I Worked for G NAC or the group needs assessment center (through Corporate Charter Hospital) until July the 26 of 1996, where I was a counselor and took calls from 25 Charter Hospitals on their 1 800charter hotline. In the late 90's, I did the light show for the classic rock and roll band "Stiff Possum", and PBS did an Across Indiana special on the blind light technician. You can still see Stiff Possum Band info if you look on YAHOO, and search for Stiff Possum or Stiff Possum Band. Reggie aka Rachel and Rick from Stiff Possum are now with the band "FLASHPOINT", and you can get to the FLASHPOINT page on my friend links. I went to Leader Dog for the Blind in January 2000 (in Rochester, Michigan), Now I have a Austrian Shepard Leader Dog named Wally aka Wally the Leader Dog or aka Wally Dog. I also have a 120lb AKC registered Black Lab Stud Dog named LISHIDO, LISHIDO is not Japanese, but it is short for LITTLE SHIT DOG. I built a new 3 bedrrom Habitat for Humanity house for me and my children (in 2001), and I do everything but mow the lawn "might kill the neighbours cat". Since the spring of 2002, I have been the volunteer, intern coordinator for a local United Way Agency (which runs a crisis information and referral hotline). This hotline serves 6 counties in west central Indiana (i e Vigo, Parke, Vermillion, Clay, Sullivan, and North West Green Counties). Vigo County Lifeline Indiana 211's web site address is: www.wvlifeline.org ... I added some pic'sof my Monster Truck Mud-n-Maddness, White Hot, and my Mach I to a slide show on my page. Finally, I will be adding more pic's when I get a chance to scan them. Randy
