Dr. Sabrina D. Black a woman after God’s own heart is an author, professor, counselor, mentor and Bible scholar. Sabrina is the Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling Center, which emphasizes spiritual values. Among her credentials, Mrs. Black is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor and Certified Biblical Counselor with 17 years experience in individual, family and group counseling. She has degrees in psychology and counseling. Sabrina has expertise in the fields of gambling addiction, sexual addiction and sexual abuse, relational problems due to substance addiction, issues relating to clergy and ministry leaders, marital conflicts and communication, boundaries and spiritual growth, stress, anxiety, burnout and anger management. She is passionate about glorifying God, amplifying His Word, and edifying His people. Dr. Black is an advocate for the lost, and a living testimony for those who desire to achieve the abundant life. Dr. Sabrina D. Black is adjunct faculty at Ashland Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University, Michigan Theological Seminary and for Christian Research & Development. Sabrina is president of the National Biblical Counselors Association, chairperson of the Black African American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of the American Counseling Association, International Association of Marriage and Family Counseling and the Michigan Counseling Association. She is also the founder of Global Projects a missions oriented non-profit 501c3. Sabrina’s goal is to help God’s people live the Abundant Life through hope, help, and healing! Sabrina lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband Warren Jose’ Black. She has one son and four grandchildren. She is an overseas Missionary and has been to Romania, London, the West Indies, and has also made over ten trips to several parts of Africa teaching, preaching and reaching the masses with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sabrina serves in full time ministry. Since Sabrina accepted the Lord in 1986, she has been singing God’s praises and giving testimonies of His goodness. Like the woman at the well, she is making a local and global impact by telling others about the Man (Jesus) who changed her life.

I love gospel. Among my favorite for praise and worship are Martha Munuzzi, Mary Alessi, Israel/New Breed, Richard Smallwood, CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams.I also like jazz, Motown and a little old school sound. I don't watch much television I would rather read the Word of God; but when I do it is Nick at Night (Patty Duke, Andy Griffin, Brady Bunch, Wonder Years)or Jeapordy and Wheel of Fortune; I also like Clean House, How Do I Look? World News Tonight, CNN, the History Channel and all versions of Law and Order

Books:
