Sounds Like: I likes Paddy Steer - he has some very funky Myspaces but I have liked his playing since Yargo. Also a big shout out to another northern classic band Dr Phibes & The House Of Wax Equations (suddenly appearing in internet searches thanks to old fans with good memories - or flashbacks!). French dub makes me nod my head - (see Brain Damage or outernational compilations series 'Roots Of Dub Funk' from Tanty Records). Midlands label from Rockers HiFi: 'Different Drummer', Rap act The Goats are the bomb (lookit Black Landlord also). Funk it up Fishbone. The Egg are worth going to work on.
