Pure energetic mad trad music. Acoustic electricity... Band formed in Galway, Ireland, in 2006. Different influences, different lands, different backgrounds.The band is a mix of Irish & Spanish members, infuenced by trad Irish and spanish music, jazz, bluegrass, house music and electronic. At the end, what we find, is a solid sound with very clear intentions: make us move.Alale's first album was recorded in The Forge recording studio, Galway. Produced and mixed by Ray Diamond, great musician and experienced producer from Co. Mayo. Alale had the pleasure of counting with great guests for some of the tracks. Indian tabla player Rafa, traditional spanish percusionist Sara Gonzalez, flamenco guitar player from Barcelona Esteban Moreno and the bass player from Mayo Gerry Diamond. The result at the end is a mixture of different influences, textures and sounds that creates the Alale's organic world sound. At the moment the band is working in their second album, full of original tunes and with something new, a singer. In the next few weeks a couple of samples of the new album will be uploaded.
