Hi all,my name is Stefan Stefanov and I was born on 29.09.1977 in Dimitrovgrad-Bulgaria.I started playing the guitar at the age of 13 inspired by guitar heroes like Zakk Wylde,Dimebag Darrel,Paul Gilbert,Marty Friedmann,Steve Vai,John Petrucci and many,many others.Later,at the age of 20 I started studying music at the musical departement of the New Bulgarian University.I played in some cover and original bands until the beginning of 2004,when I met SJK..s frontman Dilian Arnaudov in a studio and was invited to join the band.I also participated in some big projects like The First Bulgarian Rock Opera,where I was asked by the composer Kiril Bojkov(BTR) to play the lead guitars.
After joining SJK,I started working immediately on the bands latest album-The Metal Chronicles Part 1 which was released on the 4-th of july-2005.I..ve been lucky to share the same stage with bands,such as Motorhead,Megadeth and W.A.S.P,opening shows for them as a supporting act with SJK,or playng big festivals.It was the greatest honour to be a part of that creative and unique sounding band,fronted by the amazing Dilian Arnaudov.We had lots of great gigs and great times with SJK,but in the end we had some difficulties and we've decided to take a break.After that,me and the drummer(Ivan Petrov) were invited to join the band of another bulgarian rock singer-Ivaylo Ranov(Sheky) and spent some time playng with him.Not a long time ago I started working with the legendary bulgarian heavy metal/hard rock singer Zvezdi Keremidchiev(Ahat) and his band ANALGIN,which is one of the greatest challanges in my musical career and a great honour ofcourse!!!Although I am inspired by so many guitarists,I try to invent my own style and reach my own identity!I am still learning and I am very lucky to be a musician because of the amazing people I met,who are related to music and the immesurable pleasure,that music playing gives me.I love music,it gives a sense of purpose to my life...
