Le Satire (On Hiatus)

LeSatire was formed in 2007 by then-bassist Kazuo, formerly of The Dark Crystal Conspiracy and Death-Defect (Massachusetts) with lead guitarist Chaz, formerly the bassist ViniaViras (Western Mass), Lead Guitar for Stigmona (CT). With Chaz’s departure from ViniaViras, LeSatire became their primary focus, with Kazuo switching into the rhythm guitar slot. As of May, 2008, LeSatire is on a temporary hiatus following the departure of lead guitarist Chaz.
Currently, Kazuo is seeking to revamp the project with an entirely new lineup and sound.
Influenced greatly by traditional classic rock and roll (LED ZEPPELIN, GUNS’N’ROSES, VAN HALEN and AEROSMITH) as well as Japanese rock acts such as X JAPAN and DIR EN GREY, The GazettE, and metal pioneers like OZZY OSBOURNE, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTLEY CRUE and SLAYER, as the traditional punk scene’s SEX PISTOLS and THE RAMONES, LeSatire follows in the tradition of Japanese psychedelic rock by fusing such tastes into their own sound.
As French for ‘The Satire’, LeSatire intends to do just that: satirize the world we live in day to day and challenge what our perceptions and values are.
Formed to communicate the sadness and grief at the decadence and futility of modern society, LeSatire’s music is a genuine expression of the members’ view of the world. In a world where music has become cheap vehicles for artists’ egos, LeSatire seeks to make music that stands by its own merits—with theatrical and visual flair—to be remembered and definitive of when it was made, an audio zeitgeist.
