If you can't beat 'em join 'em!And so it goes...Jess Love is one of the fresh young faces in the international circus scene. In the last 8 years she has performed in 10 different countries with 10 different companies, won awards and competitions, performed on the street, in theaters, in big tops, in Tiny Tops, in the Sydney Opera house and even her lounge room.She specializes in Hula Hoops, Acrobatics, Adagio, Double Trapeze, Skipping, Chinese Poles and Hoop Diving. But has also been known to dabble in Flying Trapeze, juggling, Spinning Bowls and much more!At the age of 5 Jess was tumbling, swinging, leaping and balancing. She trained in gymnastics for 7 years and finished at level 7. She won poetry eisteddfords at age 7, held 2 world records for skipping at age 8, starred in her first musical at 10, and trained gymnastics at the AIS at 11, and somewhere in there she found the time to learn to juggle...In 2000 Jess moved from Brisbane to Melbourne to pursue a career in Circus Arts. She was accepted into NICA and was among the first group of graduates to receive a Bachelor of Circus Arts in 2003. During her 3 years at NICA Jess performed in two Fringe festivals, was a regular at Acts of Absurdity both on and off the stage, wowed audiences at the Famous Spiegel Tent and the Sydney Opera House, clubs, pubs and corporate events and was in Dislocate's A Public Liability.In 2004 Jess was given an honorable mention at the Fringe Awards for Best Female Performer for her work in The Candy Butchers- A Circus Sweatmeat.Since graduating Jess has performed with Dislocate, Throwdown, Gurlesque, The Tiny Top, Circus Quirkus, Sideshow Paradiso, Baby Take A Bow Burlseque, The Candy Butchers, Circus Oz and on many streets and side walks in Australia and around the world in the multi award winning duo street show Erratic-Crobatic and her spunky solo show The Jess Love Team.
