Logan came into this world in a bit of a hurry! He decided to make his way out a day after his due date. I began having contractions at 2:30pm, but they were not in a pattern, so I was unsure if it was the real deal. I got in the shower, and they immediately began coming 2-3min apart. We called the grandparents to come over. We made it to the hospital just before 7pm, and Logan arrived about 1hr later. The Dr didn't make it in time, and he was delivered by a nurse. Labor was 5 1/2hr from first contractions to his birth. No time for an epidural or any kind of drugs. It was a wild ride, but it was the most amazing experience of my life. WHAT A RUSH! We are so happy to finally have him here!!I am a stay-at-home mother to my beautiful daughter, Molly Nicole, and our new son, Logan Xavier. I am also happily married to my loving husband, Curtis. We gladly share our home with our precious pets: Chester, Peanut, Toby, and a handful of neat African Cichlids. When Molly was born, it completely rocked our world, in the most amazing and profound way. Watching her grow into the little girl she is has been something I never could have dreamed. We bought our first home in April of last year, and are enjoying having our own home. Our family portrait is 9 years in the making, and this is just the beginning.{}
