F ounded in Downtown southeast D.C & southern Maryland, a company & empire, would be envisioned molded and built, this by two young black men who shared similarities and differences in both there societies. Struggle poverty & domestic problems would be only some of the few obstacles they'd succumb to find a mid-balance in life. Loyalty was the crossroads that would lead to one friendship, one bond one army. To launch a corporation, opposites had to come from two sides of a spectrum. A product of the street would be the original recipe and than later an open mind would shape basis of the music catered to a people.
Environment added community experiences and individual outlook is what make this kingdom create future. Reputation and consistency gave way to early development in making there life there business. There goal was & is still, to make change by entertaining what is fact from fiction to a wide range of industry. Dorian "Dutch" Shelton's and Daina"Dane Dillonga''Johnson's business is A.R.S.N.E.L RECORDS. Arsnel originated from a gangsta rap group of two (Dutch and another disclosed artist "not dane") in 2001.Commited to the rise of a tri-state area in hip-hop this group was made up of the two boys just mention from D.C at first but easily grew to four members hailing one from southern Maryland P.G County and another boy from Baltimore M.D. The following year the group was dismantled due to personal mishaps between the group, which left the lead rapper (Dutch) in a bind. This bind being either to try and up hold the Arsnel name by finding new members or go solo.
The decision was made to go solo and look for a record deal mainstream although offered many deals locally he refused and upon attending high school by gaining attention through battling a then Dutch would meet a friend who would introduce him to his future company’s capo Dane. Dane persuaded the young mc that he wasn’t a battle rapper in search of a deal but a leader that possed the ability to be a great if only he had his own label. It would take the two to start it, a partnership was born and two owners birthed a movement and new revolution. The foundation of this new revolution is ARSNEL the name means a group of weapons as in the actual term arsenal, but differs because in A.R.S.N.E.L each person is there own lethal weapon capable of mass destruction or protection giving his or her choice which is there own depicting there fate, but is obligated to make impact on life regardless. The misspelling of the word signify’s the street sponsored influence but every letter stand's for sumthing."A" for allied "R" for revolutionary "S" for soldier "N" niggas "E" for endorsing and "L" for loyalty.
