About Me

A North Carolina native, his musical gifts were noticeable at the age of 4. Now a classically trained pianist from composers of the 19th and 20th century, Brian London studied Scriabin, Chopin, Bach and Mendelssohn. he has a mixed flavor of the classic American jazz from the likes of Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong.
Years later the young musician competed in various piano and vocal competitions and easily placed 1st in each category he participated in. Eventually he co-founded an a cappella group while attending a prestigious performing arts high school in his home state of North Carolina.
After graduating preparatory school, he attended North Carolina A&T State University, where he double majored in Piano and Vocal Performance. While in college, he started playing As a lead pianist for several mega churches in North Carolina, he quickly sought after various choirs, wrote, and performed songs for them.
He then left North Carolina for Chicago to pursue a more active career in music. he enrolled at Columbia College Chicago majoring in Musical Theater. He knew that he was born to perform so he enrolled in dance and acting classes, as well as sticking to his foundation in piano. Coincidentally, he enrolled in a class under the instruction of Grammy® nominated and multi-Stellar Award Winning songwriter/producer Donald Lawrence.
Brian London’s acquaintance with the music business was still in its developmental stages; however, Donald Lawrence gave him enough knowledge to land his first industry-related job. Never loosing sight of his dream, he landed a position at a record label as an Executive Administrative Assistant in Chicago. Brian London was the Coordinating Assistant of the latest album for the legendary gospel choir Dr. Charles G. Hayes and the Warriors. This gave Brian London his first taste of the music industry while in that position.
Later, he became a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy. He started his own publishing company and was granted both writer and publisher membership through ASCAP®.
Now relocated to Los Angeles, he has been the keyboardist and programmer for Hurricane Chris, keyboardist, programmer and singer for the new Star Trak/Interscope Recording Artist, Kenna, keyboardist for Katy Perry, keyboardist for Lupe Fiasco, keyboardist and programmer for Aly and AJ and keyboardist for Salt N Pepa. This further solidified him as a multi-faceted and emerging artist in today’s urban music scene.
