About Me

Mother of Pearl was formed in 1994 by songwriting team Maria Claus-Rangel and Blair Reese. The band has gone through various incarnations, playing mostly private parties. And are now moving into the local club and cafe scene. We are also very proud to annouce the addition of Doug Schramm on bass guitar; he is an excellent musician and addition to the family.We have now added a drummer, Stewart Lyle who comes with many years of musical and stage experience, another great addition to the family.
