Our purpose is to supply hospitals with bears to be given to parents of stillborn children, neonatal losses and miscarriages. Along with the teddy bears is a simple card which we have attached to the bear to direct the recipients to our website which offers a chat room, forum, and links to resources.
Please remember, that although your burden may feel overwhelming, You are not alone.
Sincerely,
The Missing Footprints Foundation

We would like to let you know a little background about The Angel Teddy Bear Foundation/The Missing Footprints Foundation.
In October of 2003, Denise Ashlock-Phillips of Mustang, OK began delivering angel bears to hospitals in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Denise began delivering bears in memory of her son, Trenton, who was stillborn on April 29, 2003. Since that time, we have many volunteers and have started delivering to hospitals throughout the state of Oklahoma, a few in Kansas along with Canada and Scotland. We receive donated teddy bears from bear drives held by various organizations and clubs. Many of our volunteers are grieving parents also. Our goal is to deliver bears to hospitals to ensure that no mother will leave the hospital empty handed. While the bear does not replace the lost child, it does let the parents know that someone cares.
