Holger G-Punkt

Hi together, its me Holger G. the singer of the German Rock n Roll Band "REBELL 8" and owner of GOM Records Music Store in Strasbourg/France.So im a 43 old crazy Metal Fan where collect Cds and Vinyls of this fantastic Music. The music give me sometimes everything back what i spent in. Im in first line a enthusastic fan and also a musician influenced from Thin Lizzy, Rose Tattoo, Midge Ure, AC/DC and some bands i cant find in the moment (early Metallica, Twisted Sister, etc.). I life the early 80 s with Metal and saw Bands like Motörhead, Kiss, Thin Lizzy inclusive a drink with Phil Lynott, Maiden 1980 as a special guest from Kiss etc.Also yes, i saw AC/DC with Bon Scott 1979 in Offenbach.We all the metalheadz in germany was in this time realy underground and everybody knows each other. This was the best time of Metal early 80 s to the mid 90 s. It was also inspiration for me to style my record shop in the style i had my room at my parents or later in my appartments or i saw it in the early 80 s in London (like Shades, Vinyl Exchange etc..). With all my passion i create here in Strasbourg/France since 2 years now a cd shop in the style of the 80s and we had some good events last year (Ruffians, Grave Digger and Rose Tattoo was in the shop). Check out my section of photos. Also im a dad of a phantastic daughter named Beatrice. Shes my proud and the most loved person in my life then my wife sylvie. The 2008 could be the year of me and a couple of friends. So im involvet in many projects in music. One of it is to organize for the Keep it true Festival 2009 the safety come in of the long awaited concert of Zouille of Sortilege. The next is to hopefully release in November 2008 our Rebell 8 Album.About me: i was a "big" manager in telecommunications company from sweden (swedish Telecom) and had everything i dreamed in the past", but 5 years ago i decide to go back to my roots and let everything behind me (wife, child, house, job, money everything). I leave Germany and change over to France. I start again at the point ZERO and plan to make a come back in the music with my Band REBELL 8.France: here i found my big love of my life. Without her love, support and beliving in me im nothing. Sylvie shows and teach me to life the way we life right now. Its a mix of Gypsy and serious but i like it. I also found new friends and their support was so importnet for me. A lot of these persons u can find in my top-friends but i dont name them.....they know where i mean.Now you get some personal informations about me and the rest whats interesst you can find at my Bandpage : REBELL 8.So now im here back in business again with my music.
