Lebanese American artist Zaydan was born in Houston, Texas. It was there he attended Clear Brook High School as a member of the Symphonic Choir and the Show Choir. During these years Zaydan studied different types of music. He also became a member of the Texas All-Region Choir, for which he had to audition.
There have been many influences in Zaydan’s life. Growing up in a bilingual household, he listened to both Arabic music and English music. He would hear such artists as Abba, Bee Gees, Julio Iglesias, Tina Turner, Phil Collins, George Michael, Chicago, Whitney Houston, and Sting. But the artists that have truly influenced Zaydan to this day include Frank Sinatra, Fairuz, Shereen, Aaliyah, Amr Diab, Wael Kafouri, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Tarkan, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears and Shakira.
Zaydan’s influences are all incorporated in his sound. This crooner’s vocal range is from baritone to second tenor.
Currently, Zaydan is attending Columbia College Hollywood where he is studying film. This will aid him in bringing his songs to life visually. Zaydan believes that music is an international language. And with this, he strives to bring many people together through his music.
