Orignally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio Pete Sayk is a force to be reckoned with both in the studio MAKING BEATS and on the mic SPITTIN RHYMES. Growing up in the Midwest he has had influences from all coasts and regions which merge together making a delicious gumbo. Most compliment his production but can't sleep on his original rhymes and delivery. He has battled Mcs, done radio, and performed in Cleveland Ohio but with limited outlets and resources he moved to Oakland California chasing his dream, He soon realized that Oakland was not what he envisioned (Pete was not down with going dumb and couldn't find anywhere to perform) and had to venture a lil bit out of the Bay to find some venues. While in Cali Pete Sayk performed in Sacramento, and was introduced to a underground scene he didnt know existed out there. Pete will never forget the warm embrace by the Sacramento artists he encountered. After 2 years and going broke in California, Pete was forced to moved back home. Now that he's back, Pete also has a new positive outlook on Cleveland and is excited about the growth of the local scene. He saw what Cleveland's hip hop community could be(rappers actually making a living off their music) if only the area supported its own local talent. Pete Sayk is a firm believer of doing music from the heart and soul and not from the mind and sense of just making money. He often throws up food from earlier in the day when forced to listen to commercial radio. Pete Sayk tries to combat the nautious crap played on the radio with original creative songs and beats.
