KEPP IT 100Monie of T.R.G.I.O. began rapping on the date of JUly 16, 2002. this came about from playin around while his cousin Joseph Osbourne was doing a beat at their aunt's house. as he began 2 keep messing around with this new found intrest, he began to start writing lyrics instead of just freestyling. After writing lyrics for about a year or so he finally recorded his first cd in The Underground Mall of Atlanta Georgia entitled "freestyle" since he didnt have any of his lyrics with him at the time. about a year and a half later, he recorded his first solo album entitled Paid in FUll in which he showcased many of his vocal talents by singing, writing, rapping, & showing a variety of styles in all of his songs. During the course of the next year he gained street credit by battling in freestyle competitions in the city of Memphis. (Some of which were @ New Direction at which he was freestle champion for over the course of a month) Around December of 2005, he was offered the opportunity to collaborate with another young & talented artist by the name of Bonez on a track called "Shocking the City" and after getting a more than positive response on their collaboration, the two decided to form a rap group together by the name of T.R.G.I.O. (pronouced trio) which stands for The Rap Game Is Ours. since teaming up, the duo has composed over 100 songs and is currently working on their official debut album. Monie's style has been described by some as "aw-inspiring" and "jaw-dropping" some have even said "He's close to reaching the lyrical level of Lil Wayne". But we'll let you be the judge of that........
