Rudy Love and The Love Family

About Me

The musical essence of the Love family evolves from the connecting of Mama and Daddy Love in the early 1900’s way down home in Checotah, Oklahoma. Relocating to Kansas - Wichita - with his children, his wife, and his heart of soul - Robert Love, Sr. sang as he worked, worked as he sang and sang because he loved the music! A musical genius, his heart and mind connected to create the words to songs of love. His children followed Daddy’s path...making the music a business. There were 15 LOVE children to listen,to follow, to lead...choosing a path of life not too far from each other...ultimately winding all the way back around to singing the songs, the songs of LOVE - words that capture hope and despair of a lifetime. Rudy - keeping it real with his words, his actions, his passion, his focus - bringing his brothers and sisters along all the way. Bob - following the path of education, embracing the music in his soul, recognizing the distinction of "baggage and luggage" to let the words flow. While the two older Love boys continue the "bizness", it must be known ...it’s a LOVE thang!! There’s the sisters, the brothers, the cousins, the children of the children that keep the words flowing, the music swooning, and the labor of Love strong!!!!!
