YES...The Wonderland Journals are actual journals penned from 31/12/2003 to 01/11/2004- to date, there are 3 volumes.NO ... It’s not quite clear what purpose these journals have but for now let’s just call them “social commentariesâ€.YES.. The writings were penned by Paul Brandoli (a Buenos Aires born but Melbourne raised writer/producer) and initially had nothing to do with music- it was however, a logical next step to translate these entries to songs .NO ... There won’t be a book to sell on OprahYES...The first entry, the “Chemicals EP†is an observation of life today , in particular, the ever increasing dependency on chemicals that help us deal, or more to the point, often not deal ...YES...All tracks on the EP were written, arranged, produced, performed and mixed by Paul, channeling influences as diverse as Prince , The Time, Daft Punk, to Blur (although his friend Rob did play guitar on parts of it and another guy , Geoff , mastered it)YES… It funks ! (it also rocks in parts...with a constant electronic subtext)
