About Me

May 28th, 2009
We've completed our first pressings for both POA and SCWA. Please contact the bands if you're interested in obtaining a copy! We're very happy to have accomplished this feat of double releasing on our first go round. We're now considering new bands for release in late June. Also, We're also going back into discussions with The Eagle's Club about potential shows in the very near future. Any bands in need of a Eastern NC show should look us up. With all the new and upcoming bands to debut this summer, don't be surprised if a BOTB isn't the first thing we do... I think the next number is 10 .. or 11... we've done a bunch of those damn things.

Shooting Cats With Arrows has set May 23rd as the release date for Pushing Everything Towards Abomination. We're very excited to get this release started on this project. It seems that we're going to be waiting awhile on Wings of The Apocalypse, as they pursue a new drummer.
Procession of Aeons , who is also scheduled for an early May release from us. We'll be expanding our myspace to allow people to purchase these items when they become available.

We've set up a Merchant Paypal account to accept payments from bands. In addition to this feature, we'll also be making our musician's albums available on Myspace, so that band's will be able to earn money from sales, and never even have to touch the cd itself. For any questions, drop us a message.
.
We hope to be releasing Shotting Cats With Arrows next album, P.E.T.A. as our debut outing in May. We'll be following that with Procession of Aeons album. The exact dates haven't been 100% settled yet, but we're hoping to start production early in the month.

Katalyst Records has approached us with a possible future arrangment regarding album pressings. This deal has the potential to be groundbreaking for our company, and we're very happy to be in discussions with this NC label. Once we get everything ironed out, we'll be making a more official announcment.
The bands mentioned were Joe Grizzley and Aloretta . As Promised, more details will be posted as they become facts.
April 3rd, 2009
We've also established a promotional deal with Edenton's Kathy's Steak House , a recently established venue featuring Hardcore and Metal Acts.

We're proud to announce that we have re-established ourselves with Zakk's Coffeehouse of Murfreesboro, to help promote metal and hardcore acts when they come through in area. While we don't plan at this time to find a "home venue", we'll be happy to assist you in the promotion of any show you have coming through Zakks.
We've gathered interest from several bands looking for a publishing deal in the last week, and we hope to hear from anyone else whose interested. We've recently had an investor come forward, and we hope to reap the benefits with even lower prices for bands in the near future. This also means that we'll be accepting more bands sooner than we previously thought.

Shooting Cats With Arrows will be making their DBGE Debut with Pushing Everything Towards Abomination, with the released date tentatively set for early May! You can check out their new singles on at http://www.myspace.com/shootingcatswitharrows. This will be my companies first band that we've released, and I hope to set up with more bands very soon.

We are currently looking to add another 3 bands to our publishing company very soon, and anybody interested in never paying for their band's cd again should be in contact with us. We're looking for only dedicated, honest musicians that would like to take the easier route when it comes to pressing and distribution.
We've decided to be working in conjuction with Neon Aztec Records , which is a indie label from our area. We hope to use each others connections to get some solid results in the very near future. You can check them out at http://www.myspace.com/neonaztec.
We're proud to announce a partnership with local music producer/songwriter Roland Massey , whose recent completed studies at the Omega School of Recording Arts and Sciences, and the education has given him awesome capabilities in working with various genres of music.

DBGE started as an Eastern Carolinas promotion company since 2005. We are very proud of our local roster, which is made up of the hardest working bands in our area. We’ve had the honor of working for the best in local talent, and we've booked a long list of national acts in our territory, including bands signed to Victory, Ferret, Metal Blade, Indianola and Tragic Hero Records.
Our mission from the beginning is to give people a chance to hear new music, and in 2009, we decided to branch out into publishing, signing Shooting Cats With Arrows as our first venture. Hopefully, we'll build this into a multiple genre publishing company, and help change the way that bands make it to the top.
At DBGE, We offer the opportunity to have your pre-recorded album pressed (high quality duplication) at no charge to you! Start making the money thats needed! Plus, we'll help build you an advertisement campaign to insure the investment of both your bands time, and our company's money.
