Tyler Unger

Tyler was born in Stroudsburg, PA and graduated from Pocono Mountain High School. He then attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, before moving to Nashville in 2006.Tyler learned guitar construction business while working with his father, Dale Unger, who is the sole owner of American Archtop Guitar Company. Tyler has been playing and building guitars most of his life. He produces original songs and covers a broad spectrum of musical styles. He can tailor his playing style to whatever style is required but prefers a more blues-based style.Tyler was a C.O.T.A. Cat and performed in the Delaware Water Gap Jazz Festival for several years under the direction of Phil Woods. He toured with a country band throughout eastern PA and performed on the "Miles of Music" TV Show with Chuck Anderson. You can see and hear Tyler on Mel Bays instructional DVD with Bucky Pizzarelli.
