Dan Allen

I am a Denver-based singer songwriter who plays acoustic/electric rock and blues. I reside in Denver but "Chappy's Bluse" was made and played in Albuquerque. I've played gigs in Albuquerque and San Francisco around 2003/2004. The cd has been played on KUNM, Albuq., and the music is a mix of punk-inspired folk, rock, and blues. It was all done on a 4-track and then mastered at Ubik studios in Albuq. "Radio Allen" center's around homelessness, "Chappy's Bluse" is about nervous breakdowns, and "Gun Boats n' Ghost Ships" is a Native American-inspired punk song. CB was heavily inspired by Patti Smith's record "Gung Ho."
