Soul Erosion

HI all, My name is Yann PLOQUIN, I play guitar everyday and sports on occasion. The Soul Erosion project with Damien DUBOS (drums) was created at the end of 1998. Later we were joined by Denis ROUSSEL (guitar), Guillaume LIAN (vocals) and Sébastien CAPUS (bass). In the summer of 2000 we went in to LB LAB (Loudblast's studio with Stéphane BURIEZ and Francois JAMIN) to record "Furious Mind Degeneration". This mini-CD obtained several good reviews...But Soul Erosion disbanded in 2002 for personal reasons. Today, like a pheonix reborn form the ashes i rise again!!! Mistakes, and conflicts with friends in the past sadden me but at the same time motivate me to do what i do even better: playing METAL Music!!! And it's with pleasure, impatience and pride that i announce after a 5yr absence the return of Soul Erosion (just me and better new line-up) with "chirurgical" riffs and psyché-brutals-technicals plans and melodies. a much more aggressive approach you understand??! IT'S TIME TO PLAY METAL!!!! I'd like finish off with a particular thought to my idol Chuck SCHULDINER (Death (R.I.P)) to say that i had the chance to meet him in Paris after the show in October 1998. Without him and Death's music, perhaps i wouldnt be as driven to play guitar ....There are so many influences i would like to meet such as: Paul Masvidal, Jason Gobel, Jason Morgan, Michael Angelo Batio, Trey Azaghtoth, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Jeff Waters.....
