About Me

There's really not much to say except My name is Brad Sutphin. I was born in Princeton, WV on September 12, 1981. I have grown up around education my entire life. My father is the president of a small community college in Decatur, MS. My mother teaches 2nd grade for the MS Band of Choctaw Indians. Can't really say much except I have gone through a lot of changes growing up. I have seen the 80's as a child, the 90's as a teenager, and going into the 2000's as an adult. (Somewhat) My coping mechanism on dealing with life has always been music. I joined the band in 6th grade where I started playing the flute. Music has had a profound effect on me personally in the fact that it helps me fill in the hole of being single. I guess that's where my love for Chicago fell in. I really can't explain it to most people and not even my parents. It's like a I'm a junkie or something. Anyway, all I know is that whether it's the 80's ballads or the old school rocking out stuff, Chicago has always had a place in my life, no matter what I'm going through. I have even found Christian references in some of their songs. (Go back and listen to some, I swear to you it's there!) I'm a very philosophical person once you get to know me and I'm not at all afraid to be myself. I just feel as if I have a story to tell, but there's no one in my life at the moment to share it with. Until then, Chicago is all I have. And right now, that's good enough for me.

Walt Parazaider of Chicago. Why him? Heck, I don't know! There's just something about him. I guess one reason is that I play the flute, the other being that as long as I've been a fan, all the pictures of him when he was younger just made me think that he seemed like a really nice guy.
