Influences: As this is experimental my infulences are not set in stone, although Funk style bass playing i do is obviously inspired by the RHCP's Flea.
"Group Punishment" is based on 1960s/70s blues and it is about when i used to be an Air Cadet."Rejection" is Ambient style and is about when a certain lady turned me down."Lazy Ambition" is a Funk/Rock song which me (Maxwell) and Macus wrote, the song is similar to early music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, it is a largly upbeat song but has a dark aspect when it examines stopping one's own progress/success in life."Another Dead Tourist" is a metal song in the style of early Metallica. I wrote this song after i can up with the idea of the title which i was when i was in a resturant with Paul and a friend called Anil. I saw tourists walking past outside and just came up with the title! i actully wrote the lyrics to the song in france on my sofa. The song is about being a victim of indulgence."Pebble Knock" is Jazz instrumental piece which i made up the piano part for when i was experimenting with the blues scale. The track contains only Piano, Bass Guitar and Alto Saxophone, since Paul never had time to learn the song and make up drums for the track. There is no Lead Guitar part because i felt the track didn't need anything extra added to it. This is the first track to feature my Saxophone and Piano playing. The track is heavily inspired by the jazz muscian Dave Brubeck and his piano piece "Take 5" - which i can actully play on the piano part of!"Empty Girl" is a song about a certain someone i knew who i later found out to be some what dull. it's an emotional song, sorta similar to "Rejection". it's manly just bass guitar and my vocals although there is a little lead guitar in the intrumental. i wanted to add an acoustic guitar to the track but i never came round to getting someone to do it...
Sounds Like: Funk/Rock, Metal, Blues, Ambiant/melodic rock, classic rock....rock music in general!
