'Rolling Stoned' magazine ranked WOAReggae, number 42 on its list of 100 Greatest Reggae Bands of all time. According to that same magazine, their innovative music and cultural impact helped define a few other things that we don't feel like writing about. Elvis Presley disapproved of WOAReggae's anti-war activism and open use of Ganja, later asking President Richard Nixon to ban all four members of the group from re-entering the United States on their return trip from their successful tour of Albania. Tricky Dick told the King, "No Way! I can't do that. I'm a huge fan of those boys and I will not let the American people down. The Band has shown qualities that Americans identify with: guts, patriotism, idealism, a passion for freedom. I sing their songs when ever I need a 'LIFT'.
